Yes Its worth saying again," How well Mr O did finding that town that bunkhouse and them there roads" Thank You. And if any one has any other good ideas throw then in the ring and see what floats would be my opnion on that. Perhaps we need a thread.
I don't think its just the bunkhouse but the campsite and hotel within a few hundred metres also. We all wanted different accommodation and the BIG O found it
You are feckin joking!!! Drove down the side of Loch Lomond today, 2 mile queue of traffic for no reason. Bloody tourists, gets a bit too busy up there in the height of summer. And as andyc1 confirms, the coast road no fun, but still plenty of good roads over there. Finding accommodation and food to suit all is the real problem. People have different financial abilities, so being able to cater for all is a problem.
I only stayed at the hotel so some of you could come and have a drink after hours!! Damn it's not Easter is it?
Do we have anyone in wales to make suggestions. I mentioned that the Hinckley owners club use Ledbury as a base every year, Maybe a good base for us??
There loads of really good biking roads in Wales, from north to south. There are a few of us in the north west that could do some research. I will speak to them and report back. Wessa
No apologies needed, this is what it was about. Your ideas are similar to mine and I just wanted to plant a seed for forthcoming events. Things may have be further into the future but I originally posted this to prime everyone that after the wet gmu17 it can be done with same enfusiasm. I personally fancy it on my bonneville but it's not the most ideal bike as my Chinese shit tourer thingy does it effortlessly and sooooooo cheaply but it's got the wrong badge!!
Been trying to do a link to stejo in the newbie section He has a place in France and is kindly offering its use for this kinda trip You should all go and have a look or if someone can do a link or copy it and put it in here I would seriously consider this depending on timings and costs
