    EDIT!

Does not 'Drunkey' also stay 'for something in the way Dilligaf does' ??? (heheheh)

Or how about 'Dillidrunkey'!? LOL :joy::joy::joy:

    Cheers!

(Oh and he already loves pubs and live-music!) :)

EDIT: I was a little slow on the uptake here. Now, with a little help from my designated cultural advisor, I got your meaning @dilligaf ! And Drunkey definitely would not be a complex abbreviation such as Dilligaf.
    But I have an idea...

I own an artefact called Völsung in a video-game called Skyrim...

But I probably would have to write a name like Hekledirkegard in my palm just to remember, what I am supposed to call my monkey, once the bananas are peeled... o_O

And what about 'Tommy'? In the 2nd WW that was, what the Germans called the British soldiers.
And it is not even discriminating...
Isn't that a nice name for a brave little monkey far from home!?
    :yum

Wiki says, it derives from the name on the standard form, the soldiers had to fill in.
In the example it was given as Thomas Atkins. Hence Tommy...

Please accept my apologies, but if I may interject a slightly serious tone here re: Tommy Atkins, Kipling wrote a cracking good poem every squaddie should memorise.

I did know but did not correlate..
    Now I have Dilli's point!

And therefore pick up @Havit 's 'FRITZ' (Stands for 'Feckin Randy In The Zoo')

    How about that, @dilligaf ?

Think of the bunkhouse, wet, mucky, windy, but a tad more refined.

I take it to be a damnation of "civilisation" and the safety this provides for greed hate envy. Dont see the connection with the vid, unless its typical Lemmy sarcasm Mind you they are Harley owners..

Daily routine in the trenches compared to daily life on the GMU.

Stand To at Dawn dilligaf 5.00am ablutions
Breakfast and Weapon Cleaning breakfast and (thinking about) bike cleaning
Inspection & Roll Call MrO headcount
Daily Chores faffing about putting wet weather gear on
The Daily Boredom waiting at drop off points
Stand To at Dusk faffing about in the drying room
Re-supply and Maintenance down the Co-op for more happiness in a bottle, figwold and his marigolds
Patrolling, Listening Posts and Wiring Parties ragging up and down Hartside, following MrO's pipes, ??????
