Still waiting for the rocker cover gasket to turn up for my Daytona, But while have been waiting have been giving the daytona a serious clean, T Cut the farings and cleaned all the bits of the bike you cannot get at with the faring on. Oh and Bry if you ever want something to do at the weekend I could always do with a hand to sort these bikes out (more than happy to provide food and beer)
I see that the new pills haven't started to kick in for you as yet P19DJG or is it just the cold weather
Collected the rocker cover gasket for the Daytona from the dealers this morning and have finished detailing the bike so will replace the gasket and put the bike back together tomorrow and with a bit of luck the bike might even start. Also have been yelled at by the wife for bringing the panels inside to T Cut them... well there wasn't any room left in the garage so I had to do it somewhere and it is not like I have been bringing engines in to the house and rebuilding them. Bloody woman, they are a strange breed of cattle
My ex-missus use to moan like fuck about me putting engine parts in the dishwasher on a hot wash with de-greaser..... Stupid fucking bitch! Then the stupid fucker wonders why i had several affairs then left her? And i thought i was the one that was a bit messed up from years of narcotic abuse? View attachment 2200
Replaced the rocker cover gasket on the Daytona and will put the bike back together tomorrow. Radiator and clutch master cylinder for the Trident arrived in the post today, so only got to get a few more bits for that and will be able to put that back together. Not enough hours daylight at the moment to get everything done
No it's not the lights that are the issue it's the lack of room in the garage that causes the problem. Saying that the Honda should be off to get the frame chopped and welded and then powder coated so that will then at least give me some room to swing a cat (as it were) in the garage. By the way Pig are you part Australian as you have the same type of diplomatic manner as them  Not sure the master mechanic would be a great description CC part time bodger and spanner chucker would be a bit more of a suitable description
Rode it! Proper billy no mates today...yeah yeah nothing new there then! View attachment 2369
