Paul and I were back at Woburn today admiring your new pride and joy mate. If you are riding it back on the 30th give me a shout and we'll escort you home.
That is the plan Rich, currently booked in for 1pm. Will have a (car-riding) mate along too to record the event on film and hopefully create a YouTube video for a bit of fun. Puts the pressure on not to stall it!
I will have my Drift camera on my helmet and will siton your tail. Surprised you can't find me on facebook. It's Richard Bryce in Bedford. I'm on my tab atm which is a pain to paste in to. I will post a fb link when back home Boxing day. In the meantime you could find the Oakley MC fb page. I posted there in repky to Paul's post about his new Yamaha. Just click on my name and it' ll take you to my page.
So today, when detailing the bike, my mate Paul9908 (newbie here) sat on it and reckoned the front looked out of line. Looking from the front the forks and bars looked in line to me, yet when I sat on it and looked down on the front I had to agree it all looked misaligned. Took me ages to realise that the right-side indicator stalk was loose and slightly offset on the fork, which gave the impression of skew-whiffery, d'oh.
I brought a Street Cup 5 weeks ago 2017 plate. The bike developed a wiring loom problem with the engine cutting out when you turn the bars. I tried to claim a full refund as per consumer rights act of 2015. Yesterday I got a demo replacement bike delivered to my home. This morning I was going out for a ride and the demo bike has the same wiring loom problem and engine cutting out when you turn the bars. Triumph full knowing the street cup model had this fault and was not fit for purpose. My Dealer Carl Rosner in Croydon could not give me a full refund due to problem happened over 30 Days. But offered me £7,800 for my broken street cup. I payed £8,800 for a brand new motorcycle which leaves me short of £1000. Do I class the £1000 short fall as "Triumph Tax" for riding a Triumph motorcycle. I will be sending a letter direct to Triumph motorcycles UK to get my £1000 short fall due to the street cup is still being sold by dealerships full knowing they have a wiring loom problem.. the demo bike only had 360 miles on the clock with a wiring loom problem. #NotHappy
