Hi Stripler, Congrats on the new bike, you are going to have a fun weekend eh! With extras, take your time and read reviews of different makes for parts, from exhausts, mirrors, carbon bits, tyres, horns etc, it is good to go forthe same manufacturer to maintain the same look if that is a concern foryou. Priorites for upgrades in my book are: - Horn, get rid of the sad factory fitted excuse of a mouse fart that comes with any bike nowadays. For £20 you can have a lot more stronger sound that can be heard by car drivers above music and phone conversations. - Exhaust, you may need an engine remap too and this upgrade is usually done later, but a louder horn can save your skin, iti s also a good way of making yourself know to other road users where a horn may be excesive - Camera, get a decent weather proof camera to record any incidents htat may occur, these can literally save you thousands if it can prove you are not liable if you need to make a claim - Decent helmet, jacket, trousers and boots. Armoured motorbike kit that suits you and your bike. Not so much an accessory, but if you haven't already got some decent kit then do so. The above can cost a few hundred to a few thousand, but the camera and horn are as essential as protective clothing. Enjoy your bike, anddo post pictures when you pick it up...please
Hi and welcome, I love my street twin. As red thunder has covered there are many opportunities to mod your bike. I had the heated grips, small screen, belly pan and rear rack fitted by the dealer. Since then I have added tank pads, TEC slip on exhuast (these do not require a re-map) and rear gas shocks. I've also fitted a different radiator cover. What ever you do enjoy making your choices and the impact they will have on your bike. Ride safe. Wessa
