You really need to do the test rides jerican to satisfy yourself.
It also depends what you intend using it for:
    Regular pillion ?
    Touring ?
    Fun rides out ?
    Knocking about town ?
Best doing your homework up front but if you do feel that you've made a mistake later on down the line, these bikes are very popular and do keep their value.
Good luck mate, whichever you choose you're not going to be far wrong.

Hi Jeri, the difference between the new T100 and the New T120 is predominantly the engine. Yes the 120 has heated grips, twin discs up front and a few other bits as std., but honestly it's the breadth of ability of that 1200cc twin engine that completely blew me away - I want one. Sadly I can't afford one.

Same here, this one is a bit of a bargain and to be honest, most of my riding will be local with a few longer trips throughout the year, which I'm sure the t100 is capable of?

In my opinion the T120 is so much better bike and better value, you should forget about the T100 - but of course it's your choice.

It could certainly cope, but the T120 would be my choice for touring or a lot of pillion riding.
T100 more for weekend jaunts, fun and commuting.
    My opinion only!

My T120 is a grunt master, does not notice a pillion. Have only done around 3,500 mile and the engine just gets better. Clocks say 69 .3 mpg but I recon it's only 65mpg. My last bike, Tiger 800 did about 48mpg, arrow can did not help though.
