I'm told my son-in-law wants a book on sailing for Christmas. It's not a manual he wants (he's a naval officer and already knows the mechanics) but a novel/biography/whatever. Any suggestions? I know it's a bit early for Christmas but he's posted in the States at the moment so I have to allow time get the book to him. Thanks! Dick
I have just re-read my previous post & i am pretty sure my spelling is 100% perfect & correct. Please advise if i have missed something though & i shall stand corrected..... There is a first time for everything you know! I eagerly await your response....
'She Was Only the Admiral's Daughter but she Always Kept her Naval Base full of Discharged Sea-men'? (Please note spelling)...
Well there really was only one way this thread was gonna go wasn't there.... At least fraser came up with a helpful answer :upyeah:
Yes, thanks Fraser, it's good to know there are some sensible folks on here  Sorry for my comment about the spelling. I didn't realise that you had that sort of relationship with Bry and I hope you are very happy together.
Very useful, it's always nice to get an insight into the private lives of forum members. It's nothing to be ashamed of you know.
