    Hi all,

Noticed last night that there was a fluid around the front brake res cap after a quick blast..

Noticed this on a demo speed r I rode a few weeks ago too.

Haven't opened it yet to have a look at the seal but has anyone else had this?

    Thanks

Had it on my thruxton after topping up reservoir, if fluid gets above diaphragm it can leak out the cap, if my memory serves me right there is a groove in the join of the cap. Check fluid level, Take cap off and check/clean any fluid on top of diaphragm and that it is sat properly then make sure the cap goes back on evenly, don't over tighten

Cheers, will have a go tonight, don't think it can be over tightened as there are screws that go in the top of the cap

Bloody Italian engineering for you (Brembo reservoirs), I think the old screw top is a better design.
Or you could just use it as a good excuse to replace it with a nice shiny aluminium jobby. :)

No worries, she's been amazing, just haven't had the time to ride that much.

I saw the leak on a demo r too so something to do with those!

Col_C I do like the black anodised ones, maybe a consideration.

Sorry to reopen and old thread but I'm having the same problem with my 2017 Speed Triple R.

Is there supposed to be a rubber O ring inside as well as the rubber diaphragm?

I know the reservoir with the screw on lid does, but not sure about the reservoir that's held in place by two screws.

Any help would be really appreciated
