Hi, yep very lucky really, just retired & we've sold our house in Lincolnshire & moved to Norfolk. My sister's emigrated to Strathmore Alberta in Canada so I go every year on holiday. They are bikers so I got a Triumph out there to ride with them. Had a bike there for three years, we've been all over, we get to the Rocky mountains quite a lot, & we rode down to Sturgis for there 75th anniversary rally. I try & get over when the Kootenay Rat Raid is on as its a good rally & ride down to Nelson in BC.

Welcome to the forum Pete,i'm heading over to BC this week to do a tour of the Rockies,we spend a night in Banff which is not too far from Strathmore..the roads look great
Hi, Dougie, yes Banff is really nice, if a little busy sometimes, loads of sights around there, recommend the lakes up there, if you like water!, there's some great roads around there too. Went that way last year & stopped at a friends house up there before heading down to Nelson to the RAT raid there. (Kootenay Rat Raid), look it up. We'll be over next month & are going to this years raid. (13th to 16th July). If your still over then it's well worth calling in.
