I've actually seen this in the flesh, so to speak, and I really like it. It was done by the shops owner but for whatever reason he decided not to use it. It's brand new and would cost over $20k if done by a customer. It's been for sale for about 6 months, which worries me a bit. It's $15k plus taxes( Canadian)which works out about £9,500.00. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/mcd/6105884625.html I'm also looking at this one. http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/2015-Triumph-Bonneville-T100---NEW-PRICE_29364895 Thanks.
Hi Jerri, the first one looks very nice the second one is imo better value and leaves you to make it your bike.
My take on it is why did he decide not to use it? The bike looks quite nice but what customising has he actually done to it? Paint job , exhaust etc. The advert doesn't give any info. What's the cost of the stock bike over there? Apart from looking nice is the customising that's been done what you would have/liked done? I agree with biglad the second bike is where I would go personally and make it my own rather than some one else's rejected project, unless that was absolutely what I personally would have done.
No need to find the link. I was just asking the question to make you think do I need to do anything else to make it my bike.
Second bike defo! Half the price, more than half the looks, with room for personalisation. As asked earlier what would a new stock one go for out there?
I agree with the other replies, I would choose the 2nd bike and enjoy modifying it to my own taste. Bonnies are great bikes to customise.
Why has the first bike got tractor tyres on it?? I'm with everyone else - the second bike is the one to go for and then turn it into the bike YOU want it to be.
I'm actually in Glasgow at the moment, visiting family, I've emailed the guy about the 2nd one and hopefully it'll still be there when I get back. Thanks for all the replies, I think I wanted to confirm my thoughts too.
