I had a C90 at 13 til 15 yrs old razzing round the farm I grew up on - best days of my life! The only way to do a burn out was on grass or in a puddle!
i had a C90.... Cost me £25 and i used it for 18 months to ride to London..(70mile round trip).Spent nothing on it and sold it for £20... My best deal by far.... top bike....
I had a C90 in my teens too :smile:. Took the plastic leggings off & all the bullshit, cut the exhaust off about 6 inches from the head & razzed it over the fields.... Quality moped! :upyeah:
Same here, grew up on a farm. Had loads of field bikes from 12 or 13, Honda C50s, C70s and the mega powerful C90. All had the exhausts hacked off about 6" back from the engine. The abuse those things could take was amazing; loved reving the nuts off them and just booting them into gear
They have said that they could get a lot more power out of the 1050 engine if they wanted to and that they could squeeze loads more ponies out of it. But bloody hell 180bhp and 186kgs that is a bit of a beast that's got to be more that the RC8 and I would hope that the tank range is a bit better than the RC8 as well. Cannot find a mention of a price as of yet apart from a mention of it possibly costing $16500 in the states .... maybe.
Lol, no idea who these guys are but shows you can have fun on any bike and that C90's are just about indestructible
They use to hold a C90 Endurance Race at Mallory Park, excellent fun to watch. Fully leathered up bikers getting there knee down round the track.... Superb!
Steve, my mate had an RC8, had no issues with tank range regularly went touring on it.. 130-150 mile per tank easy... After all it's not a touring bike and neither is the Beast.... RC8 has circa 150bhp.. So another 30 bhp means smiles and clenched butt cheeks
