I have seen more peoples lifes saved in volvo and AudI cars than any other. Was out at another crash yesterday. If the four people in the car that was hit were in a smaller car it would have been a lot worse than an air Ambulance .
Just watching TOTP 1983 on BBC 4 now, meatloaf singing with a Honda VF750f in the stage on front of him, I have one of them in bits!!!
I paid bugger all for it, knew all about problems. Just think it's a great looking bike. Stupidity bought it, but hey ho. I really fancy getting another and doing two out of one.
I remember, when we were kids, my granddad had a Simca with red vinyl interior.... Us boys in shorts were hopping in the back like crazy when the weather got hot, squeaking like mangled cats Simca:
I have just test driven one of these - Figaro, 1.0L Turbo engine, fold down semi-convertible roof - built by Nissan back in the 90's as a modern car that looked classic, and is now a classic !!! And my Dad has only gone and bought it for my Mum !!!! Bit of a rolling restoration project for him to do.
Micra floorpan, but they engine is a special jap only job, all alloy turbo thingy. Have trouble with overheating and cyl gasket rotting away. But believe this has recently been to UK specialist in England for turbo and steering rack work (a week point, supposedly). Looks a bit rough cosmetically, but you can get most parts for them, which is surprising for a grey import job. Once sorted tho', my mum will be buzzing around Dunoon in it !!! Can't wait to have a proper shot in it, was fun today around the industrial estate.
Daihatsu sold a similar looking model: The Copen But the Nissan has more of the 50s flavour about it!
When you lot delete your posts, I still get to have a look at them !!!! Couple of dodgy one's, glad they were deleted before viewed by anyone You know who you are
