If you want to show a route from myrouteapp on here.
1, open the route in myroute app
2, click on share at top right of map
3, second from the bottom of that window is an option marked link, click on that
4,it opens up a window with url, click OK
5, go to post in Triumph forum you want to insert it in
6, highlight the word you want to link the URL to
7,go up to the linked chain emblem above text box
8, L click on that R click in the text box that opens up and hit paste L click on insert and its done
Look here for result.
It would be intersesting to see what happens if someone who isnt signed up to myroute app clicks on it

i clicked on it and it just shows the route in a small box,i saved it into my pics to post it on here


,it seems you have to log in to view the route properly

i was looking for this thread yesterday!! i put this in another thread but it might be better in here!
i think this will only apply if you are a paid up member..you can now make up routes on the myroute-app with either Google maps,Tom Tom gold and they have now added Here/Garmin gold,
All my previous routes were done using the Google maps but i decided to convert a route from google maps to Here/Garmin gold, but a word of warning if you do this you have to check all your way points as some of them might not be exactly where you placed them and could result in problems,this only happens if you are converting from google to Garmin maps or vice versa.
Although recently i havn't had any problems using Google maps i now use the Garmin maps for creating routes as i'm guesing my sat nav will be more compatable with it

 

What TOmTom you using? The only way I have transfered a route with waypoints is to use the usb connector from my pc to my rider 410 then use the downloader and copy over the route as an ITN file not GPX. As been said before though, make sure your waypoints are where they should be and not on the other side of the dual carriageway

 

I've been using Google maps as well,might try Garmin for a few though.
I did notice the phone app has been updated,seem to be able to do more now.
I think Gold is worth the extra,makes it easier to find the cafe's

Don't see them? only the route from bellingham to Home.i did see one route you had from bridgend to Bellingham but it wasn't in with your routes? i saw it on the right of the main page when i first login,it's not there now though,just some routes Roadrider has put up

 

i see 1 route!, you have put it in the triumph group (but it's not in your routes),it looks good ,just a pity you can't avoid the M74 but your'e not on it for too long

Had em set to private, always do this while playing with route ant forget to put it to public, it's there now

 

i would probably go with the first route you will have about 40 miles or so of motorway,but if you go via Edinburgh you will have about double before you get on decent roads,i'll have a look and see if i can come up with some alternatives for you

 

made one up for you ,it's avoiding the motorways going via the campsie Fells it's about the same distance as yours, you will find it my routes..might take 30 minutes longer but worth it

I will store that and make it a weather dependant, mind you an extra half hour of getting wet on a 5 hr trip ain't gonna make no difference!!

 

When it rains it's usually at the weekend when most of the bikes come out to play

 

I know! I'm actually not coming up to Scotland on those dates, I'm keeping it a secret to take the weather by surprise!!

 

@crispey - Of the three routes from Lochgilphead to Bellingham - I would go Dougie's route. Avoid M8 as much as possible, its shit, and they drive like loonies, especially on a friday. Bit of a drag thru the central belt, airdrie and that are crap, but better than the motorway and you get more fun miles thru the campsie's that way. Unless it's pissing down, go short !!!

Put a SW route up for you, no motorway, bit of dual carriageway around Ayr, but would take a bit longer, belter of a full day if you fancied it. Lochgilphead around to the ferry at dunoon is a belter. Ferry is about £7 for bike and rider. Great wee sailing over the clyde.

Nope, runs constantly, usually run 3 boats all day on a Friday, every 20 minutes or so. Just roll to the front of the queue on the bike, dead easy. Pay on the boat, fella comes round like an old fashioned bus conductor.

 

Yep went touring in Scotland a while back, stayed in Dunoon and used the Dunoon ferry, great way to get to Argyllshire where you have access to some great roads.
