Looking good Privateer!! I have the same colour and bar end mirrors. With the mirrors - the throttle side has a small gap between the grip and the mirror clamp which I can live with, but the left hand one has a larger gap between the grip and mirror clamp which looks a bit odd. Might just be my OCD, but have you experienced this or moved the left grip out a bit?
Not exactly pristine, but a lot less caked in $h!t from this week's rides than it was before a quick wash and scrub up. This weekend gonna have to seal the gap in the exhaust where all the coking comes from.
I've just spent two weeks studying the best advice from YouTube on how to clean and protect a motorbike, and then assembling the necessary tools and chemicals to do so... ...Muc-Off, FS365, ACF50, Valet-Pro Snow Foam, Wire Brush (brass) for chain rust, two buckets (suds and rinse), Meguiar shampoo, cellulose sponge, latex gloves, paddock stand, new hose, chain cleaning brush, chain cleaner, chain wax, motorbike dryer, microfibres pads .... I'm sure I've missed something too.
And also (mandatory): a toothbrush! All my BMW riding acquaintances can not live without one, cleaning their bikes And don't forget the nurse! For the medication!
She looks so stunning! And you 'picked' the right location too: Spain. Have tons of fun! This is how it looked over here today in Amorbach (Lovebrook):
For all of us too lazy to search : Straight out of Mad Max 'The Kingdom of Doom' (I was surprised, that the plant in the backround didn't die during the video )
I took mine through a wee tunnel near us but the bloomin' action camera battery had died before we got there. Next time. Here's my before and after. Excuse the friggin' wind noise.
Hi all, here is my new T120 (upgraded from a T100). The side-panels are painted in the silver / red to match the tank. So far I've fitted the Dart flyscreen, Triumph bar-end mirrors and custom fabricated mounts for my TomTom and Craven luggage. Murdo
Me or the bike? Old-school tourer is my look - I even downgraded my leathers for waxed-cotton I had a cruiser for many years but over-enthusiastic riding kept putting me in the hedge and I'm getting too old to lift a 600lb Wildstar plus luggage. The T100 kept me out of the scenery but still allows for some customisation that keeps me happy in my shed over winter.
Hi Murdo, so you are someone, I can ask: did you ride the bike without the little screen before and do you feel a change in windpressure after installing it? I have this one on my XJR: And I think, I feel a difference in comparison to riding the T120 'naked'. Cheers, Daniel
