Here's a piccy, I know how much they are liked.

Got the stainless steel 2810's to keep with look of bike but you pay a bit more. I bought from Hagons at £256 delivered.

So first thing I noticed was they look quality apart from the Hagon sticker that was stuck to the pre-load adjuster, shame but that had to go. Hagon invest in better stickers ;)

Next the weight difference, I should have weighed the shocks to be able to post the difference but Hagons are significantly lighter, a good thing in my opinion for what is a heavy bike.

Finally the ride, well just WOW and I do mean WOW I can now adjust pre-load and damping without taking panniers off, a real boon seeing as wife loves a ride ;)

More importantly the bike feels so much more planted and confident inspiring even with the Metz's still on. May be not night and day difference but for the money in my opinion worth every penny. I will adjust damping for a more comfy ride when 2 up but not had a chance to test that yet but it can only be better I am sure of that.

Fitting, first time I have ever done this kind of upgrade, YouTube gave me the knowledge and about an hour later job done.

If you are gonna keep your America\Speedmaster this is one upgrade that is definitely worth it.

    Very nice SB
I fitted the standard Hagon rears and progressive springs to my Bonnie and what a difference.
Just a little tip, I always put a dot of paint on the bolt head for a visual check that nothing is working loose.

Assuming you can see my piccy then you may notice not paint but nail varnish, lol, for that exact purpose.

Just don't tell the wife. It's all I could find to do the task.

Apologies SB, I have just blown the piccie up and seen the blue 'paint'
I won't need to tell your wife, it looks like you've used half the bottle! lol

These units look great. Thinking of fitting some Hagon 2810’s to my America but can’t see these on the Hag9n website. Are they some sort of specials ?

You just need to call them and in the case of these ask for stainless steel springs and unit. Think I had to pay about £20 more over standard 2810s.

Most important decide if you want them set up for mainly solo or pillion riding and know your body weight.

I went mainly pillion as when I do trips it is always with the wife apart from the one coming up, lol

Consequence of that when I go to work the ride is firm just for me. No regrets you just have to decide where the compremise will be. When 2 up they are brill, wife was more than happy with this upgrade.

Thanks for feedback. I tend to ride solo and most of my miles are on annual European tours (1200 -1700 miles over a week). I will talk to Hagon who have been very helpful in response to my original query. Thanks again.

Just placed my order with Hagon for the same shocks as you have. £256 and 2 weeks delivery time. Thanks for your help.

Just fitted the Hagon 2810s and very pleased with them. Ended up going for black springs which look good
