    It's a Richard Thompson song off his album Rumour and Sigh. Seen him perform it live many a time. Always brings the house down. No finer singer/songwriter imo, and a stunning guitar player who learned on electric before learning acoustic. As a 17-yr old with Fairport Convention it's said he blew Zepplin's Jimmy Page off the stage when they were jamming. And of course the '52 VBL broke the land speed record in New Zealand emulating Rollie Free's exploits in '48 on the bathing suit Vinnie on the Bonneville Flats. Watch RT solo what it otherwise takes a band to emulate.

    I have found that reply to be quite common on other bike and car forums and I absolutely bloody hate it:mad:. Yes it would be best if they did search the forum and I would hope most would, but if they don't and you can't be bothered helping them, just don't. I have never seen "go search" on this forum and hope I never do.
    I have referred them to past threads, ie tyres because the crapness of OE tyres has been well discussed, but would still be happy to pass on any information, even if only to show, that I do in fact, know it all:D

    Aye I must admit, I can't recall it being an issue on this forum, which is why I'm interested in reading what people have got to say and follow a lot of the topics, and I hope it stays that way! :)

    The thing is, it seems it's not restricted to just vehicle forums either. I'm on other forums for various topics from guitar to wargaming, and there is a general trend towards grumpiness and complaining. :(

    So it's good to have a forum that is for the most part, a nice place to be a part of!

    No need to apologize! Your (and others) posts on the "This made me laugh" thread are one of the "special" features of this forum that entertain and keep me sane (not).
    Anyway forecast is for a sunny weekend (at last), so getting the bikes out of mothballs for a good ride and all will be right with the world again. :D

    BTW.......4 pages of posts in less than 24 hrs!... just to have a whinge or pat ourselves on the back.......
    This 'kin forum is DEAD you know! ;):D:D:D
