Yesterday had great fun on the Tiger round local country roads after going hooligan on the Kimbolton Road. Had a bit of a twitchy bum time when I caught a right gust of wind on a single track.

Today rode Paul's Street Triple over to Woburn for him. First time on one. Cracking good fun on the bendy bits.

Yeah, but at least I don't have to spend all weekend cleaning spokes.

I enjoyed watching this: brought back memories, when I had the same engine mounted below me: had almost forgotten this destinctive whining sound.
With all the potatoeing my good Bonnie utters (which I love and need!)

Rain today (is this Germany???) so I just pick up my car from the inspection.

    Have fun! :)

Fitted V&H 'Scrambler' exhaust to the Street Twin today. Going to annoy the neighbours before breakfast and coming back from the pub.

Well that certainly allows access to your rear spindle and chain.
Looks good Rich, can you post a picture of the left hand side, I should imagine it looks a bit bare ?

It was a bit like that - 100 yards behind and it was all I could hear. Then when I was leading I could hear Rich's Twin ahead of me somehow even when I couldn't see him behind me. I think the whole of Leighton Buzzard was resonating to his engine!

Good point. It's garaged at Paul's for now (I've got four other bikes to accommodate fttb). I'll take a pic next time I'm over his.

......well, it's bleedin poring down here in Wurzelshire,........and Mrs dickydido is putting the heating temps up again.......Springs here then!....so rather than sit here sulking I went out into the garage and fiddled with me Bobber......no madam, that is not a euphemism!.....

......again, another beautiful looking bike from Triumph with zero storage room....so I made a couple of brackets and have fitted a tool roll on the back of the seat.......not happy with the colour of the leather, want it to be that lovely old looking reddish brown so that will be an ongoing work in progress to get the hue just right.

......fitted a couple of bobbins so I can get it up......no madam, that's not one either.......on the paddock stand...

.....finally added a bit of colour to the tank with some 'bobby hat tape' as Mrs dickydido called it!........

.....I hope Mr Orange is reading this.......any chance of a Bobber section on the Forum please?.........or am 'I the only Bobber in the village?'........

    Cheers,

    dickydido

Good point Mr.O, it is, one for Bonnie riders with beards and short legs. Maybe create a Low-Rider section so the low-rider Tiger folk can join in.

Too wet and cold to go out, so instead sorted two projects:

1 Moved the SatNav mount on my Tiger from the bars (too low and I don't like taking my eyes so far off what's around me) to above the instruments. Not over-easy to figure out how best, with a Madstad fitted, but found what seems to be the answer on the Tiger 800 Forum.

    See pics:
    IMG_3820.JPG IMG_3821.JPG IMG_3822.JPG IMG_3823.JPG IMG_3824.JPG

Not ridden with it yet, but part of it was installing Madstad's off-road bracing bracket for the screen, so should be stable enough.

2 Then upgraded the headlight on the Street Cup to a LED from Motodemic:

    IMG_3831.JPG IMG_3832.JPG

Simple enough job, but as always once you take something apart it doesn't look the same as in the drawings (or in this case video) so wasted twenty minutes trying to figure out how it was supposed to go back together.

Of course again not tried it out yet.

Yesterday I took Tracey out for a spin, had to go down to Redhill Aerodrome and thought I'd go from there to Newlands Corner via the smaller twisty lanes and try out this flick malarky and steady throttle watsit from that video thingy. I mean, Its almost stuff I do naturally but God did I balls things up when I started thinking about it, probably strong cross winds, mud on the roads and oncoming mums in 4x4s in the middle of the road didn't help much. All in all I could see it could make a difference and it gave me a different way of thinking than the usual IAM Roadsmart stuff.

I heard that it was a bit fiddly, can't quite see how you've attached it though, pray tell. And you must let me know how that screen is too, please! Do you need the offroad brace? if your not going off road that is
