You might as well put the foot long flames to some good use and one of you make some toast while the other types out some details about the bike as Richard H has asked. lol
I suspect you may have answered your own question in the flywheel. As you can't fit the flywheel you may have to change the Ecu to the 2009, can you compare parts anywhere to ensure the throttle bodies are compatible, part numbers etc or physically looking if things are the same.
There's a lot of good knowlgeable guys from every walk of life. Welcome to the forum Gary and enjoy the banter as well as the technical help.

im going to ring gavin at race hq horseforth to see if he can flash the ecu has no one else done this swap then ? he couldnt find a good speed 1050 engine any of you get to squires ?
If it's a Tiger 1050 it's still the same part number..... You sure it's not a 955 ? 955 flywheel looks bigger
Hi Jody, I think the 955i Tiger engine last production run was in 2006. So I'm assuming it must be a 1050 ??????
Yeah I was thinking maybe it was mis sold ? Couldn't think of another reason off the top of my head as the part numbers on Fowlers are the same for the 1050s ? Unless there was an engine revision as Triumph like to do...
