Anyone recommend the short open pipe full emissions removal tunes ? As my 08' America could do with a good tune/power boost. I have removed everything that stifles the motor's ability to breathe.
    Cheers capt.

I've got the long pipe one and everything seems good, although I do wonder wether to get it dyno tuned and then it would be specific to my bike

Hi Capt, with your bike being '08 is it fuel injected? I thought the didn't start that until '09?

Hi biglad, my bike was built late 08, bought it in 09, and its fuel injected. Got Lot's of engine mod's, dyno remap in 2010, still std engine, but airbox , oxygen sensors and air injection all done. Had 51.3 HP std, went up 6/7 HP to 57 HP maximum, but there was big jump midrange in torque and HP. Engine now hi compression 904 cc wiseco, still std cams but cylinder head ported and inlet manifolds ported to match head inlet ports, I think I would be getting 70 plus HP now.

Crispey, dyno would definitely be a good option, I put my original dyno tune on the "tuneecu" website as a good start point for anyone with America/Speed master of 08/09 years, with AIS plugged and removed, gutted airbox, after market hi-flo air filter and short (forans) mufflers. Dyno operator can tune to your your requested requirement, I wanted torque ! So my map is slightly richer in midrange and the tuner told me Std map is very rich in 6,000 rpm plus rev's . My bike became 5% more economical , went from 19/20 klm/ltr to 21klm/ltr. Gained 8 ft lbs torque and 6/7 peak HP.

    Cheers capt.

Hi capt, have you thought of getting it dynotuned? Not only so that it is more specific to your mods but also, I could be wrong here!!, these tunes are set up in this country, would they be 100% right for your climate which can be slightly different from ours?

    Hi crispey,
The dyno tuner I used only did Power Commander, and via PC you can't adjust ignition timing maps, having done the Hi Compression 904 wiseco piston big bore kit- I would need to change ignition mapping Too I believe ? Does the mapping done by TTP include Ignition changes ? If anyone using tuneecu and has TTP map could look and see the mapping differences it would be beneficial to get and try out their tunes.

    Cheers capt.
