I have drafted a Private Member's Bill for Parliament, just need an MP to adopt it. It's called the 'Bikers' Sunday Moveable Feast Act'. Every motorcyclist would automatically be issued a statutory flexi-time employment contract when they insure a bike. For biker-flexi workers every day would now be classified as a normal working day, weekends included. Don't fret, Sundays remain sacrosanct as Bikers' day. In future in the evening weather forecast, if next day is going to be sunny then it is declared 'Bikers sun-day'. Every biker takes the day off work on full pay. It would mean though working weekends when it's not biking weather. Still working out some of the details such as weekend exemptions when footie/rugby/cricket/netball matches are on, or the pubs are open, and how to apply the legislation to Scotland and N.Wales who don't often see the sun. I'm thinking give the Provinces and Jocks independence and let them work it out for themselves.
Not sure about the independence thing. What if queen Nicky makes the kilt compulsory? - Could get a bit drafty on the bike .
Just arrived at my customers. Hoping to get job finished for lunch time. Forecast is sunny and hoping to get out on bike after work. Currently stoatin doon!!!!
Already been thought of mate, armoured kilts. The draught you'll just have to cope with. Ok, maybe if Scoatland is remaining in the Union we'll have to add an amendment to the Bill in second reading to have 'Biker Half-Day Sun-Days Moveable Feat - Jock, Taff and Paddy-land Provisions'.
