Hi everyone just joined was on a different forum but it was run by a dictator He kept deleting your post for silly reasons ie "I ask what was the crime rate was in Poland because I was thinking of going there " .That was taken of the forum. What is wrong with that ? I have told this is a more friendly forum so Hi to you all
Welcome in , some would say we are friendly most likely is that we've lost the plot. Just be wary of littleade and Gloria As to the crime rate in Poland no idea but I'm sure there will be a few suggestions made about that.
Hi and welcome to te forum, yep some useful folks around here. Good luck with your trip to Poland. Wessa
Hi Chris It takes all sorts, and no doubt they're all represented here too. But we try to avoid politics - not always successfully! Welcome and look forward to hearing about you and your special one.
Ron, delete this new guy ! He's called Wise ! That means he'll be much too clever for this forum ! Hi Chris.
Yes I am looking forward to the trip to Poland I find them very friendly and helpfull should be a good trip.I will let you know when I come back in June
Welcome to the forum Chris. Good banter on here that's for sure. As for Poland, I have only ever been to Cracow which is a beautiful city and as with all cities there were undesireables roaming about, the heavily armed police seemed to have them in check though. More remote areas ? just keep your wits about you and avoid any known 'bad spots' There are some forum members due to tour Poland this year so I am sure they will give you some great tips and feedback.
Hi and welcome. Ask Winglad about Poland, his lot had no trouble on their tour, but that was a few years ago!!!
Hi Chris, yes Winglad is your man for the gen on Poland. His mates generally take that route on the way to Russia. As for friendly, did Admin let you know newbies always buy the first round?
Welcome buddy On our ride back from Romania, we spent a day in Poland. Seemed ok. I think it was called Polanica. Good biking roads These are all the places we stayed throughout our 15 days motorbike trip: erbach - DE sigmaringen - DE bad reichenhall - DE Horn - AU zilina - SLO satu mare - ROM vatra dornei - ROM sibiu - ROM alba julia - ROM matraszentimre -HUNG polanica - POL bamberg – DE All the best with your trip. It will be an epic journey
You're on the same wavelength as Winglad, who I'm sure will be along soon enough. His fellow countrymen always took their Tigers round Europe.
Hi Chris and welcome! I did not realize, that I already achieved such a good reputation regarding my travelling expertise... So Poland, eh? No problem at all mate: I asked my dad. He checked it out a couple years back. Said the Tiger should just do fine... My dad was still in shorts though. He only got to play the drum: Nevertheless, they all had a good time. He said the only crimes, he knows about are war-crimes and there were only German and Russian perps. So you should not worry. The Polish are very nice folks. And don't forget: Just as in England; don't mention the war... (the only serious part of this message being: "Hi Chris and welcome!") P.S.: See, I am still on the forum...
Thanks I thought this was just a load of hog wash All the Polish people I have meet over here are really friendly and have been very helpful when I have mention that I was going to Poland One even said if we had problems booking the Hotels due to the langwich He would help us out with the langwich. Can not be more friendly then that.I think it is a very nice place to go to .Can not wait for June to come
