Hello after 2 failed tests and 25 years I have just re-trained, passed my test and re-launched my biking journey! Well into the mid-life crisis now so why not i thought - no time like the present. Here is my new bike - 65 reg T100 -which I bought a couple of weeks ago.
Tell me more about 'mid life crisis'. Having qualified for the state pension, am I now too old for one? Did I miss something? Would I have enjoyed it? OR, did I just lurch from one crisis to the next and thereby manage to miss it completely whilst utter carnage was going on all around me and Chateau Goolie? I should be informed!! (Or sectioned!!)
Congratulations for doing it in style, nowt wrong with celebrating your mid life crisis with a bike, been there done that and now on my fourth bike. Welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on passing your test Welcome to the forum and wishing you lots of smiley miles on your lovely bike
Hi and welcome... I still wait for adolescence, guess I am still in birth-trauma and don't know about midlife crises. But I bought a couple of bikes as yet and I can tell you, it is the best medicine short of having red wine and linguine with truffels on a high cliff on Madeira (Weisswurst in Bad Tölz does the job too ) Have a good time here Daniel
You're absolutely right Winglad, I had an absence from biking for 30 years and cannot believe how much I am enjoying riding the bike, It has to be exceptionally bad weather to keep me from using it daily. Big smile every time I am on it, smiling and laughter is the best tonic of all in my book.
