MP 25 Motorcycle Show 25 .... 31th of January - 2th of February 2025 The biggest Motorcycle Show in Scandinavia. https://mp.messukeskus.com/en/ Last year: Imatran ajo (Jarno Saarinen Circle) ... 4th - 6th of July 2025. https://www.imatranajo.fi/content/en/2/10005/Home.html Last summer:
Michael Dunlop has tried to win the superbike race at Imatra twice (2022 and 2024), Peter Hickman only once so far (2023) ... let's see who will come this year Both men have already been on the podium. The legendary Giamoca Agostini holds the record at Imatra with 16 race wins between 1965 and 1975. The local guy Erno Kostamo has now won 10 races in a row (superbikes). The list of winners (history) knows names like: Luigi Taveri, Jim Redman, Mike Hailwood, Phil Read, Barry Sheene, Angel Nieto, Johnny Cecotto, Randy Mamola, etc. And Michael's uncle Joyel Dunlop in 1986.
Beaulieu Bikers’ Day 21st June 2025. Well worth a look with a massive ride in. Its in Hampshire on the south coast
Vancouver (BC, Canada) Motorcycle Show January 17-19th at Abbotsford Tradex Centre. A small venue but has been going on for a decade with all the big names + small and big kiosks bike-related. $22 entry fee. I’m confirmed. Hoping for good weather so I can ride there.
The 85th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally! Steve and I went for the first time in 2019. We agreed we could easily be "one and done". Well, we're now planning for our 4th trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota during rally time. https://sturgis.com/
The date for the Glasgow Easter Egg Run is 20th April.... unfortunately I may not have a new bike by then! Easter Egg Run | Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity I also noticed an announcement for the Festival of Flight in Ayr, which might be interesting....
Believe it or not, @beerkat, there are quite a few other brands represented at the rally. I've seen Indians, BMWs, Triumphs, Hondas, Yamahas, and more... That said, the majority of the bikes do seem to be Harleys.
A couple of events coming up in Scotland - Glasgow Bike Night at West Coast Harley/Triumph tomorrow (Thursday 26th June, 6-8pm) and the weather forecast looks OK. Live music from Hung Jury plus the usual food/coffee outlets and plenty of bikes! Next weekend is British Superbikes at Knockhill (5th/6th July) - hopefully the weather will be fine because I'm heading there at the end of a few days touring the highlands.......
The free mag Morebikes has a monthly what's going on each month for those who are unaware of such a magazine a lot dealers have it sent to them each month or if you subscribe for £20 this is just to cover postage you can obviously get it through your door every month it has some decent bike reviews and latest gear and useful adverts tyre suppliers etc you don't get much for nothing nowadays so maybe of use to some especially as the thread was on about days out saves trawling through the Internet as all on one page
Tonight is Barton bike night, just south of the Humber bridge, if anyone is available and interested.
Unfortunately any magazine listings I've seen only cover England, except, maybe, The Scottish Motorcycle Show and BSB at Knockhill. I've even sent Scottish dates into the magazines, but...... nope.
